Andrew Jillson is a veteran when it comes to the challenges and opportunities faced by an enterprise in transition. In his more than 30 year career as a lawyer, Andy has provided strategic counsel across every industry. He brings deep experience wherever personnel, operational, strategic and/or legal issues converge to necessitate organizational change. Experience benchmarks include:

• advising on multiple law firm merger/acquisition transactions.
• counseling law firms facing leadership and client relationship succession challenges.
• assisting law firms in crisis.
• restructuring law firm capital structures challenged by credit or pressure and institutional instability.
• advising on transition and integration issues for private equity, public and private companies.
• serving on AmLaw 100 leadership team during consideration and implementation of acquisitions, divestitures, lateral hiring initiatives, reductions in force.
• serving on, advising AmLaw 100 leadership team during successful wind-down and dissolution of firm.
• counseling stakeholders in numerous organizations on transition options that address and realize specific, strategic objectives.
• transition counsel for $600 million sales organization operated through out the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Andy holds a JD from William & Mary Law School, and a BA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

He has written numerous White Papers, articles and legal industry alerts, and he currently co-authors the Hayse LLC Blog -- Managing Law Firm Transition.

Andy resides in the Dallas, Texas area.
